School Bus and After-School Activities

After-School Activities including tutoring will begin in the week of September 13, 2010. The club/team descriptions and their schedule will be distributed on Tuesday, Sep 7^th and also posted on our website right away. Since there won’t be any activities after school until Tuesday, Sep 13^th, school buses will be leaving right after school.

Elective Courses Fall '10

The new year is about to begin and it's time to choose electives for Fall semester. The Online registration system will be activated at 8:00 am on Wednesday Aug 25th and it'll be closed by 3:00 pm on Friday. During this time period, students will log in to system, which will be given access through our website and select electives. Please click on the following document to see all available electives for all grade groups so that you can decide what to take. After school begins, we'll let our students to check out their elective course and then the registration system will be on again if they would like to add/drop any elective courses. Add/Drop period starts at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, Aug 31st and it'll be over by 6:00 pm on Wednesday, Sep 1st.

The summer has flown by and the first day of school is fast approaching. We have been busy all summer preparing our new building for this school year. We are energized to see all of you. Enclosed in this packet is the first day orientation information, lunch information, drop-off and pick-up location, supply information, uniform policy, transportation, volunteer information and a wish list. There will be an open house on Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 10:00 – 12:00.

Our new building is located at 9400 South 834 East, Sandy, UT. We are right next to the Jenny Craig location in the Sandy Mall. Please contact Karlene Welker at (801) 576-0070 for any questions or to set up a time to meet her there. She can be also contacted at karlene.welker@beehiveacademy.org. If you have not received a letter from the school, which can be downloaded by clicking the documents below, please contact Mrs. Welker and let her know, as your address may not be right in our system. We would like to update you on our uniform policy for this coming school year. We have added some new colors. We will be offering sweatshirts in navy blue and burgundy with the logo on the left side. We will also be requiring gray PE T-shirts with school logo
