School Survey

As we prepare for full accreditation and we wish to improve our school, we plan to survey all students, parents, and staff members. Tomorrow (Wednesday, March 31^st), all students and staff will be given the surveys for completion. Parents, please watch for your survey--It will be sent to you by way of your student (there will be also extra surveys kept in the office). A BSTA Habit: Winning at Science Fair

Salt Lake Valley Science and Engineering Fair was held on March 26 at Rice Eccles Stadium on the University of Utah campus. There was a huge variety of projects representing our school from physics and astronomy to energy, environmental management, and transportation. 10 participants from BSTA received 18 awards/Scholarships at the Fair. Our students made us proud once again and here are the awards;

SUCCESS: Nickname for BSTA's Math Team

Last Saturday, March 20, four students of our AMSP team competed in Mathcounts State Round. Only nineteen schools were invited to the State Round. One of our team members, George Papadakis, made it to the Countdown Round by ranking 7^th place. During the Countdown Round, where top ten students compete against each other, George made it to the 5^th place.
