SUCCESS: Nickname for BSTA's Math Team |
|
Last Saturday, March 20, four students of our AMSP team competed in Mathcounts State Round. Only nineteen schools were invited to the State Round. One of our team members, George Papadakis, made it to the Countdown Round by ranking 7th place. During the Countdown Round, where top ten students compete against each other, George made it to the 5th place.

Math Team goes to State Round |
|

In the regional Mathcounts Chapter Competition held on February 6th, BSTA math team took 6th place. 8 of our students competed in the regional Mathcounts competition and we our team is invited to the State Round. like last year. Mathcounts State Round will be held at Salt Lake Community College-Redwood Campus, on Saturday, March 20. Only 23 teams from all over Utah State are invited based on their success in the regional Mathcounts competitions. Our team consists of the following students:
George Papadakis, Devin Ross, Jake Hillard and Sam Wald.
