Q: Where is BSTA located?
A: BSTA is located at   830 E 9400 S, Sandy UT 84094.

Q: When will the 2009-2010 school year start?
A: August 20, 2009.

Q: Which calendar do you use?
A: BSTA follows the traditional nine-month school calendar.

Q: Do you provide transportation?
A: Yes. We have limited bus coverage from the West Valley area, and a limited bus coverage from 400 South and Redwood Road. And BSTA usually helps parents to organize carpools.

Q: Do you provide school lunches ?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you offer extracurricular activities?
A: Yes. We believe that learning should always be accompanied with exploration. Therefore, BSTA strives to provide as many opportunities as possible for the students to gain extra experiences. Field trips, clubs , athletic teams , after school tutorials , and academic teams are a few of the many possibilities BSTA is providing. 

Q: What is the average class size?
A: Each class has maximum of 25 students (usually less).

Q: How do I enroll my child?
A: A written application is required for each student. You can apply online , download a paper application , or ask for a paper application to be mailed to you by calling BSTA front office at (801) 265-2782. You may mail or fax your written application.

 

Q: Do I pay tuition? Are there any other costs?
A: BSTA does not charge tuition. However, for one school year, BSTA asks for $175 consumable material fee during registration. Moreover, parents might be asked to pay for some of the extra-curricular activities and field trips. Any school fee will be reduced or waived for eligible parents, guardians and students in accordance with state law.

Q: Do you have entrance exam?
A: In accordance with state law, BSTA does not discriminate students based on their academic level. Therefore, there is no entrance exam.
