Several students will advance to the national competition this summer in Nashville, TN.
Salt Lake City, UT – Several Beehive Science and Technology Academy students recently received high awards at the Technology Student Association (TSA) STEM-Based state competition. Many will proceed to the national competition in Nashville, TN, June 27 – July1, 2025. TSA is a national student organization of 300,000 plus members that offers a broad program of activities for students to learn how to apply STEM related skills to industry, including exciting opportunities for networking, competition, and leadership development.
Sara Welsh, Beehive Academy Middle and High School Science Teacher, said, “Beehive Academy cultivates success with students in the classroom by helping them gain knowledge and apply that towards real-world STEM applications. TSA students are able to apply that knowledge in their field of interest. TSA shows students the reason behind their learning, as well as creating a culture of hard-working leaders.”
