Yes. We believe that learning should always be accompanied with exploration. Therefore, BSTA strives to provide as many opportunities as possible for the students to gain extra experiences. Field trips, clubs, academic teams, and after-school tutoring are a few of the many possibilities BSTA is providing. Currently, we don’t offer any athletic teams. But, Utah Law allows charter school students to try out and participate in their neighborhood school athletic teams.

In elementary school, we have a maximum of 25 students per class. In secondary school, 6th grade and up, our maximum is 27 students.

Please visit the enrollment page, to get more information about our lottery and enrollment process. You may also call us at (801) 576-0070 for more information.

BSTA does not charge tuition, since we are a public school. However, there is an annual $170 consumable material fee for 6th grade and up paid during registration. Parents might be asked to pay for some of the extra-curricular activities and field trips in grades 6 and up. Any school fee will be reduced or waived for eligible parents, guardians and students in accordance with State Law.

In accordance with State Law, BSTA does not discriminate students based on their academic level. Therefore, there is no entrance exam.
