Academic Support

At BSTA we hold students to high academic expectations. However, we also try to offer multiple academic supports for students who might be struggling.

Tutoring– After school tutoring is available in most core classes. Talk to your teacher about whether or not you need to sign up ahead of time to attend, or if you can just drop in. This is a great option if you don’t understand a concept, have questions, or you are more successful with structured time to work on a particular subject.

Academic Intervention (AI)- Students who are struggling and need additional intervention can be referred to academic intervention, where they can get extra help and supervision catching up during lunch.
