Working together is what makes Beehive Academy a success and creates a wonderful learning environment.”
Beehive Science and Technology Academy was founded by a group of scholars that saw a need for a school that emphasized science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The curriculum at Beehive is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in humanities and social science as well as math, science and technology. The school’s main objective is to develop students who possess critical thinking skills, mathematical reasoning and complex problem-solving abilities, and who will be equipped for college matriculation and work-ready careers in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Beehive Academy is uniquely positioned to help students as they prepare for a technology-based future. The school’s success is reflected in the institution’s growth, graduation rate, and increasing operating budget, which is directly tied to enrollment that has grown from 315 to currently 850 students.
The Best of State Awards were created to recognize outstanding individuals, organizations and businesses in Utah. This year’s awards will be formally presented at the Best of State Gala and Dinner on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
