TWO STUDENTS FROM BEEHIVE ARE FINALISTS IN BEST OF COLLEGE & HIGH SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

Two students from Beehive Science and Technology Academy are finalists in Photographer’s Forum magazine’s Best of College & High School Photography competition.

Dua Azhar and Sanjana Kargi will have their photos published by the magazine by being named finalists in the national competition.  The students’ photos will be included in Photographer’s Forum Best of College & High School Photography book that goes on sale June 15, 2017.

According to Beehive Science and Technology Academy teacher Carelene Walloch, both students took her basic digital photography class.  Walloch learned about the competition and invited all her students to enter.  Azhar and Kargi are currently on Beehive’s yearbook staff.

Photographer’s Forum is a quarterly publication that was established in 1977.  The competition judges high school work separately from college submissions.
